How do I get started?

You can get started by signing up for a free account. New accounts get 40 credits to use for free. You can use these credits to test the API and see if it is right for you. Once you have used up your free credits, you can purchase more from the dashboard.

Is pay as you go cheaper than a subscription?

That depends on how much usage you have, for low usage pay as you go would be cheaper, higher usage, a subscription might work out better. For example let's consider a £5/month subscription allowing up to 50 requests per day. If you use only 50 requests over the entire month, your cost per request is £0.10 (£5/50). In contrast, even the smallest bundle on the UK Address Lookup service (200 tokens for £3.00) offers a lower cost per request at £0.015. Therefore, for users with lower usage, the pay-as-you-go option can be more cost-effective.

Can I get a custom subscription?

Yes, if you have a high volume of requests, you can contact us to discuss a custom subscription plan.

How many tokens does a request consume?

A postcode or address lookup consumes 1 token, an address search consumes 0.1 tokens per request, with a token being required to get the complete address by looking up the ID of the identified address

Can I get cheaper tokens?

The larger the bundle of tokens you purchase, the cheaper each token costs. For example, the smallest bundle of 200 tokens costs £3.00, which is £0.015 per token. The largest bundle of 5,000 tokens costs 50.00, which is £0.01 per token. If you are a high volume user, you can contact us to discuss a custom plan.

Do tokens expire?

Tokens do not expire, they are valid until they are used. If you have tokens left over at the end of the month, they will still be valid the following month.

What happens if I run out of tokens?

If you run out of tokens, you will not be able to make any more requests until you purchase more tokens. You can purchase more tokens from the dashboard.

Will the cost of the tokens change?

Currently, our token prices reflect the need to cover costs of using third-party services while we build our comprehensive database. As our service matures and becomes more self-reliant, we anticipate that the cost of tokens will decrease. We're committed to passing on these savings to you, our valued users. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, affordable service that improves over time, and adjusting our pricing to reflect lower operational costs is a part of that commitment.

Do you have a referral or affiliate program?

Not currently, however we are working on one. The scheme would reward anyone who refers a customer either tokens to use towards requests or a percentage of the customers spend. If you are interested in this, please contact us and we will let you know when it is available.

How can I pay?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We use Stripe to process payments, so you can be sure your payment details are safe and secure. If you wish to pay by an alternate method, please contact us.
